Lake Geneva Schools Issues Community-Wide SurveyThe Lake Geneva Joint #1 School District and Lake Geneva-Genoa City Union (Badger) High School District (Lake Geneva Schools) are reaching out to all district residents, including parents and staff, through a community-wide survey to gather input regarding district operations and educational facility needs. The community-wide survey will be collecting responses from early November 2023 through November 22, 2023.

Lake Geneva Schools has partnered with School Perceptions, an independent educational research firm, to conduct the survey and ensure all responses are kept confidential.

Lake Geneva Schools’ District Administration and their partner, School Perceptions, used input from GROTH Design Group and CG Schmidt Construction, who are assisting the District with a Long-Range Facilities Master Plan to identify the educational facility needs and provide potential long-term solutions to be shared and tested in the survey.

The survey will begin arriving through mail to households in the community around the week of November 6th. The survey is a vital step in the facility planning process as it allows all district voters to share their opinions and feedback on school facilities and operations. The Boards will ultimately use this information to guide their decisions in order to accurately reflect the needs and wants of the districts and its residents.

“We encourage every member of our community to participate in the survey and join us in shaping our schools' future," said Peter Wilson, Superintendent of Lake Geneva Schools. “One objective within our Strategic Plan is to develop and support premier campuses to increase district appeal while demonstrating sustainable and responsible stewardship of financial and operational resources. This community survey is a critical element in Lake Geneva Schools establishing a Long-Range Facilities Plan to support this objective,” he continued.

All survey responses are kept confidential. The data and information collected from the survey will be analyzed and shared publicly during regularly scheduled Lake Geneva Joint #1 School District and Lake Geneva-Genoa City Union (Badger) High School District School Board Meetings.
